If you’ve ever performed in front of a large crowd, you probably understand how terrible stage fright is.
Imagine it taking place in front of some of the most important figures in the entertainment industry and being
shown on national television. In Brian Justin Crum’s case, it happened during his ‘America’s Got Talent’ audition.
He needed some help from his family in order to build the confidence required to impress his audience, which included the notoriously difficult to please Simon Cowell.
Crum has already performed for a live audience and displayed his skills. He had lived in San Diego when he was younger, where he had developed his acting skills.
Crum received the amazing chance to join the touring cast of ‘Wicked’ when he was just 17 years old.
Following ‘Grease,’several more musicals, including ‘The Addams Family’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar,’ were created. He has demonstrated that he is a talented performer with a range of skills.
He set his sights on competing on ‘America’s Got Talent’ because he was confident that he had what it took to appeal to a larger audience.
It’s conceivable that his acclaimed portrayal as Galileo Figaro in the musical “We Will Rock You” influenced him
to perform Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love’ during his initial audition for season 11 of the hugely successful reality series.
Simon Cowell questioned him about his companions when he was brought before the judges. He smiled pleasantly
and waved at his mother, despite the fact that he was visibly nervous and that he knew she was there.
He frequently referred to his mother as his ‘rock,’ calling her someone who had always stood by him. His mother expressed to him her delight in him.
Even though they were compelled to spend some of his formative years away, everything worked out for the best in the end, and it did not damage their unique bond.
Crum embodied every trait associated with ‘America’s Got Talent’ from the moment he played the song’s opening chords.
The crowd was aware that they could not wait to applaud until the performance was over due to the fervor with which he blasted the notes.
The judges gave him four ‘yes’ votes; they were all sympathetic to his argument and supported him. The audience gave a standing ovation in response.
