Alex, a 10-year-old Romanian boy, was nervous as he took the stage at a well-known talent show for kids. Everyone was scared that he wouldn’t be able to finish his performance because he didn’t make much eye contact with the judges and couldn’t control his feelings.
Everyone else was quiet, though, until the boy started singing Queen’s “Show Must Go On.” The people on the jury began to look at each other as if they wanted to make sure that the sound they were hearing was the boy’s.
After the first minute of his performance, all of the judges stood up to cheer and support his amazing ability. The judges and the rest of the crowd were amazed by how strong and deep his voice was.
It goes without saying that playing a Freddie Mercury song is very hard, even for skilled players with a lot of experience. So, it is hard to believe that someone who is so young and has never been on stage before can do such a great job.
