The ‘AGT’ teen who sounds like Janis Joplin returns to present the judges with an original song

One of the most recent America’s Got Talent contestants returned and once more astounded the judges.

If you watched American Idol’s previous season, you might be familiar with Courtney Hadwin. Her television audition quickly gained popularity once it was shown.

The third Golden Buzzer of the season was given to Courtney by America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel.

As she walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage for her audition, the young person admitted to Mel B that she was anxious. Courtney was graciously advised not to worry.

When she inquired about Courtney’s favorite subject at school, it was no surprise to learn that music was her choice. Courtney clearly prefers the classics, even though she doesn’t have a particular piece of music she enjoys learning in class.

She commanded the stage with her long, lanky arms that underlined each action as she performed “Hard to Handle” by Otis Reading.

One of the highest honors an artist may receive is a Golden Buzzer during the audition stages. Therefore, it is not surprising that Courtney returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

This season, not just American Idol, the best performers from all of Got Talent’s competitions are returning. Susan Boyle received the first Golden Buzzer of the year!

Courtney chose to perform “Pretty Little Thing,” a rock and roll tune, for her return to American Idol.

America’s Got Talent uploaded the video on YouTube, where it has amassed over 3,000 comments from viewers all around the world.

A partisan stated:

I have always supported her, and I am sorry that she was unsuccessful. Watching Courtney perform a song she wrote live on stage is incredible. She has incredible talents. Keep singing, Courtney; you did a fantastic job with this song.

Courtney was ousted after week two for failing to receive enough votes to advance, much like another AGT celebrity, Darci Lynne Farmer.

What did you think of Courtney’s singing this song?
