A 4-week-old baby talks to Mommy in a hilariously “deep” way.

Having a baby in the house, especially a brand new one, is a big deal. They are loud, messy, tired, and weak, and you know whose job it is to take care of all of those things? You! No parent in their right mind would ever regret having a child, no matter how hard it is.

Parents can’t help but love those little bodies with all their hearts.

But those kids will always grow up. It doesn’t happen quickly, but it will happen whether you like it or not. Growing up can even be fun sometimes, which is good news. Every parent knows how fun it is to keep track of their child’s growth and see how they are growing.

“Oh, your baby isn’t babbling yet? My baby was 2 months old.” Even though we might not say we’re proud of our baby’s milestones, we can’t help but feel a little bit of pride when we reach a new one! When you reach a goal before anyone else, it’s generally a reason to celebrate. And what’s a little competition between parents, right?

Bentley, who was four weeks old, just woke up, and his parents decided they wanted to get some good video of him. We don’t blame them, because he is so cute! They didn’t think that the camera would catch something so amazing, though.

His mom makes baby sounds while they are filming him.

No matter how old you are, you have to make baby noises and “baby talk” as part of the process. This is what Bentley’s mom starts to do, and the baby’s reply is amazing.

Don’t forget that Bentley is only a month old!

Bentley meows when she makes noises, and then he imitates the tone of her voice with his own.

It’s so cute that it deserves all the attention it got when it went viral. At the moment, it has had more than 1.5 million views!

How soon should a baby start to talk?

Did baby Bentley make a sound? Probably not, but he sure sounded like he knew what he was doing! WebMD tells what happens when a baby talks for the first time at 3 months:

At 3 months, your baby can hear your voice, looks at your face while you talk, and turns toward other voices, sounds, and music in the house. Many babies like the sound of a woman’s voice better than a man’s. Many people also like the sounds and songs they heard before they were born. By the end of their third month, babies start “cooing,” which is a happy, soft, repeated, sing-song sound.

It looks like Bentley started “cooing” a lot earlier than he should have. He might grow up to do something amazing.

The 3-year milestone is the last step of talking that WebMD has.

By the time your child is 3, their vocabulary has grown quickly, and “make-believe” play helps them understand abstract words like “now,” feelings like “sad,” and physical ideas like “in.”

Bentley is now 6 years old, which is crazy! Even though it’s funny to think about, our kids grow up so fast.
