Most people just start moving and dancing when they hear a catchy song. It’s like an urge that kicks in. Obviously, that’s not easy for a baby who hasn’t even learned to walk yet, let alone dance. But that’s exactly what makes this video so cute and why it still pops up now and then, almost a decade after it first went popular and made people’s hearts melt.
Sydney Foye was only eight months old, so she probably hadn’t taken her first step yet. But she was just the right height to pick up the guitar and start playing it. “She rocked out,” said her dad, Aaron, so they had to record it.
Back in 2010, he was a paid drummer with Willie Nelson’s band, so it made sense that she liked music.
The video below was shot in 2008, and it shows Sydney dancing to “Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi while her dad sings and plays the guitar.
She headbangs, boogies, and shakes as hard as she can, but she’s smart enough to hold on to the guitar the whole time so she doesn’t fall over.
Sydney is an adult now, but she hasn’t forgotten her singing roots. She still plays music with her dad, which is great. Watch this cute moment between a dad and his daughter in the video below, and don’t forget to share it to make more hearts melt.
