After Simon cancels his audition, an Indonesian singer performs a song that steals the show.

A lot of nerves must be experienced before, during, and after auditions for shows like The Voice, American Idol, and America’s Got Talent.

The anxiety of failing, disappointing the studio audience, and having the judges critique your performance and point out the things they liked and disliked is always present.

Cakra Khan, a 31-year-old man with a gorgeous, deep voice that blends beautifully with blues music,

encountered an uncommon incident during his test. When Simon interrupted Cakra during his performance of ‘Make it Rain’ he was in the middle of his audition.

The studio audience noisily started booing the former American Idol judge in protest of Simon’s antics.

Simon remarked, ‘I believe your voice is fantastic. ‘However, I didn’t like the track. Did you bring any additional music with you?

Cakra resumes his audition after clarifying that he did, in fact, bring a second song. This time, he performs a song by Bob Marley called ‘No Woman, No Cry.’

Simon’s intrusion doesn’t faze Cakra in the slightest. He continues by displaying his breathtaking and uplifting voice.

His audition is interrupted frequently by the studio audience, which leads to a standing ovation when it’s through.

The distinct, raspy, and bluesy voice of Cakra was praised by all four of the judges. Simon acknowledged how much he like the young man’s sound.

Simon remarked, ‘It’s very uncommon to hear sounds like that. ‘The second song helps people like you more by

getting to know them. I get the impression that you’re more of an artist now. I adore the sound of your voice.

Cakra advances to the next stage of the competition after receiving four unanimous yes votes from the four judges.
