Introduces a 3-Year-Old Violin Prodigy by André Rieu Dutch musician André Rieu hails from his own country. For leading the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Rieu is well-known. The Johann Strauss Orchestra is regarded as the biggest private orchestra in the world with a 60-piece ensemble.
Akim Camara, a 3-year-old violin prodigy, was first introduced by Rieu during one of his concerts in 2004. The music instructor for Camara got in touch with Rieu to let him know what a gifted child Camara was even at such a young age. Camara was invited to perform on stage at Limburg Stadion in the Netherlands by Rieu after receiving videos of him performing;
he did not dissapoint! Camara demonstrates his endearing qualities in the video by wowing the crowd with a feat he pulls off with a water bottle. He spits out the water after drinking it and holding the bottle up to his ear. As this act began, the audience started to laugh. He then plays the violin after a few more repetitions of his trick.
