What you do with it is your gift back to God.” The Lord looks after His children, even if it doesn’t seem fair to you right away, it is all a part of His divine plan. This 39 year old single mother is a living testament to the Lord having great plans for each of us.
America’s Got Talent is a wonderful show which gives people a way to follow their dreams. Glennis Grace, a 39 year old single mother single-handedly proved to the world that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
According to Glennis, her 11 year old son was the one who encouraged her to audition for the show. She took a flight all the way from the Netherlands and earned a resounding 4 yeses from the judges after her first performance. However, she was given feedback by judge Mel B to be more original with her performance.
Taking Mel B’s advice to heart, Glennis Grace came back with a bang with her scintillating performance of “Nothing Compares To You” by Prince. The room exploded with the screams of the audience as Glennis’s performance came to an end. A few of the judge’s mouths were wide open in shock as she was singing. These are judges who experience phenomenal acts throughout the show and they were stunned by her performance. That speaks volumes about her talent as a singer and performer.
While Glennis is certainly not as young as the other contestants on the show she illustrates the saying that it’s never too late to follow your dream. Glennis is an inspiration to all single mothers in the world who struggle with balancing their motherly duties with the rest of their lives.
