Dancing is a form of art that calls for a lot of talent, commitment, and willpower. Dance will not be something that most people are inherently good at, like practically anything else in life. In the beginning, there will be a lot of tripping and missing of steps and moves. Now, increase the number of participants to create a coordinated and choreographed number, and the difficulty level only gets significantly higher. Better yet, create a dance routine that solely uses kids, and the level of difficulty increases yet another time. Nevertheless, an eight-member dance group stunned the judges and the studio audience with a spectacular performance.
Eight dancers from United 2 Dance—four girls and four boys—took the stage on Britain’s Got Talent, where they were greeted with a standing ovation. One of the group members mentioned a special exchange between Bruno, one of the show’s judges, before they performed. The young dancers perform a well planned act while moving to The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights,’ showcasing their talent. None of the performers make a mistake during the roughly two-minute routine. They also include several dancing styles into their dance. There are some traditional ballroom dancing steps as well as some more vivacious hip-hop moves.
By the end of their performance, the crowd is up and cheering the kids on, exactly where they should be. Despite their youth, their routine is an absolute joy. The judges agree that these kids can dance! Simon Cowell praised the audition, calling it ‘brilliant.’ ‘Seriously, you put a lot of folks who are much older than you to shame by doing this. This was amazing. All four judges give the kids four ‘yes’ votes as the video comes to a close. The competition’s next round will include United 2 Dance!
