Australian violinist Christian Li, 10, became the youngest in the world to win the championship of one of the world’s most prestigious violin competitions – Yehudi Menuhin, held at Victoria Hall, Geneva, in Switzerland in April 2018.
According to ABC Newss, young Christian Li played the violin at the age of 5, studying with Dr Robin Wilson – head of the violin department at the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne.
Christian says the most exciting part of the Yehudi Menuhin competition for me is the chance to meet people I admire, my favorite violin masters, and perform in front of them.
